Sharene is an experienced civil litigator whose practice focuses on estate litigation, financial abuse claims, construction disputes, contractual disputes, foreclosures. She also has extensive experience in personal injury law.

Sharene completed her Bachelor of Arts at Simon Fraser University in 1993 and her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Western Ontario (now Western University) in 1996. She returned home to practice law and hasn’t looked back since being called to the BC Bar in 1997.

From 1996-2020, Sharene went from articling student to associate lawyer to partner at a mid-sized full service firm in Coquitlam. Alongside her team, in 2020 she started Orstad Law, a boutique litigation firm located in Langley where she has spent most of her adult life and raised her two children.

When not in the office, you can find Sharene on Shuswap Lake or “cruising” around the world.

Sharene is excited to have joined RDM in 2023 alongside her team with the merger of RDM and Orstad Law. She practices primarily out of our Langley office.

Fees

Sharene’s hourly rate is currently $450, while some of her work is billed through contingency fee agreements.
