Sam is a member of our solicitor group, with a particular focus on wills and estate planning, including indigenous wills, and corporate/commercial.

Sam grew up in Langley and then obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Brigham Young University (Provo). She returned home and obtained her juris doctor at the University of British Columbia with a specialization in Aboriginal Law in 2015. During her time at law school, Sam volunteered as a Legal Advocate with UBC’s Indigenous Community Legal Clinic, and she volunteered with the Indigenous Law Students’ Association. In addition, she was an Assistant Editor for the UBC Law Review.

Sam was called to the BC bar in 2016 and began her legal career in Abbotsford practicing Family and Child Protection Law. She then moved to the Interior and transitioned to a solicitor practice focusing on Wills & Estates.

Sam joined our team upon her return home to the Fraser Valley in January 2024 and is excited to again serve the community she grew up in.

Sam is Métis, with roots in the Red River Valley in Manitoba. She loves sharing her Métis culture and history with her two young children, and she is committed to working towards reconciliation in her community.

Outside of the office, you can find Sam out in nature or in the hockey rink with her young family, and planning her next Disney-related trip.

Sam is happy to assist clients in English and French.

Fees:
