Emma is an experienced litigator whose practice focuses on family law, WorkSafe/WCB claims and immigration, while she also has substantial experience in personal injury law and insurance defence.

Emma completed her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Anthropology and English at the University of Toronto in 2009. She went on to complete her Master of Arts in Sociology at the University of Ottawa in 2011, and lastly her Juris Doctor at the University of Victoria in 2014.

Emma was in-house counsel with an insurance company for nearly 8 years prior to joining RDM. In that role, she gained extensive experience in all aspects of litigation, including a multitude of trials and over 200 discoveries. She has represented clients before the BC Provincial Court, the BC Supreme Court and the BC Civil Resolution Tribunal.

When not in the office, you can find Emma training dogs, volunteering with the Canadian Association of Rally Obedience or exploring the Fraser Valley with her family.

Fees: 

Emma’s hourly rate is currently $375, while some of her work is billed through contingency fee agreements.
