RAVI DUHRA, B.Comm., LL.B, J.D.

Ask Ravi what he truly enjoys the most about his profession and he’s quick to answer: helping people solve problems. Resolving numerous issues at one time comes naturally to Ravi, who is always searching for the best possible solution for his clients.

He grew up in Quesnel and, staying true to his northern roots, began his legal career in Prince George. He graduated with honours from the University of Northern British Columbia in 2002 and, in 2005, went on to earn law degrees from the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy joint LL/B/J.D. program. After spending some time teaching business law at the College of New Caledonia and the University of Northern British Columbia, Ravi moved to Abbotsford with his family in 2010 to join RDM Lawyers.

While Ravi’s original plan was to focus on litigation, early in his career he was inspired by another lawyer to get involved in real estate law. This shift into a faster-paced category has worked out well for him and he thrives on the challenges. There are still demands and workloads to be addressed but the approach is different as is the environment.

In 2016, Ravi became partner at RDM. He is a dedicated and valued member of the RDM team, who not only recognizes the different strengths and skill sets of his staff, but goes the extra mile to encourage them to grow and develop, personally and professionally.
