Julie is an experienced civil litigator who focuses on insurance litigation, commercial litigation, construction litigation, property disputes and estate litigation. She also has extensive experience in personal injury law.

Julie completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1991 and her Bachelor of Laws in 1995 both at the University of Victoria. She was called to the BC Bar in 1996.

From 1996-2023, Julie practiced civil litigation in firms in Vancouver, the TriCities and most recently with Orstad Law in Langley. She has appeared at all levels of court in BC, the Federal Court of Canada and at the Supreme Court of Canada. Julie was excited to join RDM in 2023 as part of its merger with Orstad Law and to continue practicing primarily out of our Langley office.

When not at the office, Julie enjoys volunteering her time in the community. Most recently this has included as a Trustee with the Coquitlam Public Library, past Chair and Secretary and current member of the Policy Committee with the Coquitlam Foundation, and a member of the Women in Business Committee with the TriCities Chamber of Commerce.
