Shelly is a Partner of RDM Lawyer LLP and practices in the area of civil litigation, with a particular focus on personal injury litigation. She represents people who have suffered injuries and loss as a result of motor vehicle collisions as well as slip and falls and medical malpractice, including those suffering catastrophic physical, psychiatric and brain injuries. She also practices in the area of labour and employment and human rights law.
Shelly has represented clients in all levels of court in BC, including the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal, and at various tribunals.
She is a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia. She has been involved with the BC Branch of the CBA and a member of the executive of the Women’s Practice and Equality Section of the CBA. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation and a member of the Character Abbotsford Council.
Raised in BC, Shelly completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Victoria in 1994. She moved to Ontario to complete her Master’s degree in Political Science in 1996 and then her law degree in 1999, both from the University of Western Ontario. She then returned to the west coast, where she articled with large Vancouver firm. She was called to the BC Bar in 2000 and joined RDM Lawyers in 2003.
