Jessie practices civil litigation, with a focus on labour and employment law, human rights claims and estate litigation. She is a regular participant in the Canadian Bar Association and is a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of BC, the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources of BC & Yukon and the Fraser Valley Bar Association. Her background also includes serving on the Board of Directors for Christian Legal Fellowship as well as being a current and past director of several political associations.
Jessie completed her B. A. in Political Studies, with a concentration in Philosophy, in 2010 and went on to obtain her Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Humanities in 2014 – all at Trinity Western University. During this time, she worked in insurance for several years and was involved in politics, working at the Prime Minister’s Office in Ottawa and for a local Member of Parliament.
She obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto in 2015 after spending her final year on exchange at the University of British Columbia. Jessie completed her articles with RDM Lawyers and has remained with the firm since her call to the Bar of British Columbia.
Jessie has always been an active member of the community, volunteering her time in politics and through her church and has been nationally recognized for her leadership. When Jessie is away from the office, she is often attending a political event, travelling, playing sports, or spending time with her niece, nephew or cats.
